What this covers

This explains what information RETRODIDIT collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the project inquiry form, file uploads, and the scheduling option on the contact page.

What I collect

• What you enter in the inquiry form: your name, email, optional phone number, artist name, and project details.
• Any audio file you choose to upload with your inquiry.
• Basic technical data to prevent abuse: a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent.

Why

Only to read and respond to your inquiry, discuss your project, and protect the form from spam. I don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Inquiries are stored in a private database and uploaded files in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Service providers that help run the site (hosting, database/storage, email delivery, and, if you use it, the scheduling provider) process data on my behalf. Scheduling is handled by a third-party service that loads only when you choose to view available times; its own privacy policy applies.

Analytics & cookies

This site doesn't use advertising trackers. If analytics are enabled, they are cookieless and aggregate (page views and button clicks), with no personal profiles.

How long I keep it

Inquiries and files are kept as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and reasonable record-keeping afterward. Files from inquiries that don't become projects are deleted periodically.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted at any time by emailing retrodiditbusiness@gmail.com.
